Research claims will be associated with the evidence that supports them. A simulation is not presented as a physical experiment, and a computational result is not presented as independent validation unless such validation has actually been performed.
Evidence discipline: simulation, model-derived results, computational studies, hardware experiments, and independent validation are identified separately wherever applicable.
